One Month till I leave

Well, This is it.
Exactly a month from now I will be on a plane almost at Fiji (where I have a layover) on my way to LA.
To tell you the truth, I am WIGGING OUT!!!! I just have SSOOOOOOOO much to do in the next month (one week of that which we're spending in Tasmania and onother which we have friends from interstate and overseas staying with us to say goodbye).
So, really, I have 2 weeks... THAT'S IT!!!!! TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!!
In that time I need to finish packing the stuff I'm taking, throw out all my JUNK.
Get rid of most of my clothes.
Sell our furniture.
Buy a bunch of things I need to travel with.
and
Say all my goodbyes.
(I know it really doesn't LOOK like that much but it really IS!!!!!) I promise.
We will get it all done, I know we will. It's just that scary time, you know??
Anyway, I'll keep you posted!!

Welcome to my Blog

Hey there everyone!!!
I thought this would be a great way for all of you (especially my family) to keep up with all the news and everything that's going on with me and Daniel and this big move of ours...
So, WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this year is going to be AWESOME!! Daniel and I have decided. We've realized that, with the exception of welcoming two beautiful little boys into our lives - my brother Joshua and our God-Son Taj, 2005 SUCKED ASS!!! It just was NOT a good year. There were a few highlights: A wonderful trip to New Zealand and a fantastic weekend up at the Gold Coast. We made a short film (although that had as many lows as highs it seems) and we both found a fair amount of success on the job-front. However, compared to 2004, 2005 was BAD!!!!!!!
We've decided to have another 2004... A year of following our dreams, of taking chances and huge leaps of faith. A year that will lead to success because we dared to make things happen!!!!
So, in pursuit of that endeavour, I leave these shores in 34 days. That's right, LESS THAN FIVE WEEKS!!!!! I have a one way ticket to the Grand old United States of America. That's right, I said "I". Believe me, neither Daniel OR myself LIKE this situation, but we must do what the Government makes us do...
So, I head to America to above and foremost FIND A FULL-TIME JOB (the sooner I do this, the sooner we can get Daniel to the States, too).
So...
For those of you in Australia, you have VERY LITTLE TIME TO SEE DANIEL AND I BEFORE I LEAVE. Call me, e-mail me, get in touch. I'd love to have one last catch-up with you all before I go... Invites to dinner are warmly received!!!
For those of you in America, I will see you all SSOOOOOOO SOON!!!!! And I can't wait to see you all after all these years!!!! Hopefully I won't be couch-hoping for too long but if any of you have a spare bed, couch, mattress, room, anything I could crash on for a few days, I will cook you delicious meals and entertain you with my now VERY-strong-again Australian Accent!!
And for EVERYONE, if you know ANYbody in New York (preferably) who is needing a personal assistant, production assistant or nanny (my two areas of expertise - both require fantastic organizational skills) please mention me and I'll send my resume!!!!
